I have been playing the highland bagpipes for over twenty years, originally in juvenile and progressing to senior bands. In the last seven years I have been playing semi-professionally as a solo piper, and together with two highland dancers, have been entertaining people all over Central Scotland. I am also the resident piper for the Buchanan Arms Hotel in Drymen (Loch Lomond) and play there, regularly, sometimes with the dancers, for tourist parties, weddings, burns suppers and VIPs.


You will see in my gallery that I have quite a selection of highland dress, including Ancient Caledonian tartan (red), Loch Lomond-Argyll tartan (blue), Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders tartan (green) and Black tartan for the more solemn occasion. Most of these kilts can be worn as either Full No. 1, evening dress, day wear, or casual, and can be mixed to suit your needs.

As I have said I am based in Central Scotland (Stirling) and I will travel, within reason, but please note that travelling a great distance will have an effect on prices.
